Leslie Toms

I have known Leslie for 30 years and have enjoyed watching her work grow and evolve into the current bold and colorful images for which she is known. Her tenacity and desire to constantly improve have allowed her to realize her vision and to develop a very strong signature for her work.

Leslie Toms is a contemporary American painter focused on landscapes, cityscapes & still life. These paintings are filled with rich colors and dramatic brushstrokes. Her work often recalls influence from Impressionistic and Fauvist traditions as well as those of her native Sacramento area. In Toms' ongoing pursuit of color and light, her subjects become more symbolic than real.

Leslie Toms has been one of my top selling artists for over 20 years. She's a gallery favorite here. Her paintings radiate color and warmth, they are rich and juicy. Her small ones are little gems, or gumdrops as someone once called them. You just have to have one.
